ADOPT-A-STREET PROGRAM 2010 |
Beat the Heat - Meet at 7 A.M. in August!
Join a group of your fellow Democrats by participating in our club’s City of Surprise Adopt-a-Street Program. This will give you an opportunity to meet new and established friends while at the same time provide a community service. It will also allow visibility to the community in seeing a bunch of Democrats out working hard! We've learned that the work isn't that hard really.
Our next clean-up date will be August 21st. We meet at the Grand Professional Plaza parking lot, which is the first building on the NWC of Reems and Mountain View to gather then begin our cleanup. It doesn’t take more than an hour when we all help.
Our official cleanup area is on Mountain View Boulevard from Reems Road to W. Eureka Springs Drive. Our primary cleanup area is going to be the intersection of Reems and Mountain View west toward Sunrise Boulevard.

The City of Surprise provides trash bags, safety vests and gloves. You may want to bring a bottle of water. Dress appropriately for the season; using sun screen is always advised. We will have extra water available. You may want your own gloves too as the ones the City provides are large.
Join in the fun and good conversation by participating in this worthwhile program. Any questions, please call John Nuerenberg at 975-0503.
